Perfect for my needs

I purchased this item directly from Amazon instead of the other sellers so I could take advantage of Amazon Prime. It is a genuine Brother SA133 foot.

Being a quilter, I often need to be able to sew a consistent scant 1/4" seam. Using either the Brother SA125 Piecing Foot or SA185 Piecing Foot with 1/4" Blade Guide I was not able to achieve the consistency I needed for the scant 1/4" seam. No, I haven't been sewing all my life so I don't have the experience to do it visually. With the SA133 Blind Stitch foot I can adjust the guide to exactly the point i need and can finally achieve the perfectly spaced seam that I want. It snaps easily and perfectly into place on my Brother Sewing Machine CS 6000i

This is a very versitile foot and has become my favorite for sewing almost any kind of seam.

Finally had a chance to try and mend some of the pants with the blind stitch features. The instruction manual that came with it is USELESS, but after watching youtube video (through searching for techniques) I found how to use it. It works great if you get the fabric just right. There is no information on how to adjust tension. length or width on the machine so it is hard to use for beginner. There is a lot of trial and error so I suggest using scrap piece first.
