Walking Foot "ran" to my door!

It's Sunday afternoon and my trusty, old Singer sewing machine goes on the fritz. I am desparately trying to finish a christening quilt for my nephew's baptism the following Sunday. I intend to machine quilt it and I have never machine quilted before. I decide that it is time to pull out the very nice Husqvarna Viking sewing machine that I had inherited several years prior. Not only do I have to do something new on a sewing machine, but I also have to quickly learn to use this machine. I discover that the walking foot that I had just purchased does not fit the Viking machine. I make a few phone calls and find out that the required walking foot would have to be ordered and it would take too long. I get on Amazon and find the walking foot I need and it is no more expensive than the phone quotes I had. I took my chances and placed the order on Tuesday evening and the walking foot arrived Friday morning. I was so excited to be able to do a good job on the quilt with the Dual Feed Foot for Husqvarna Viking Designer SE. I would order from Joya Distributing again.

Best. Foot. Ever.

I have been sewing for more years than I care to admit, and I've never had a walking foot that I used all the time....until I ordered this one. For the first time EVER, I don't have to worry about the first few and the last few stitches scrunching up inside the machine because I'm on the edge of the fabric. MAGIC, I tell you...PURE MAGIC!!! Now, I just have to figure out how to mark my machine to get the 1/4" seams with this foot still on it. LOL

This was my favorite purchase for my Viking Emerald 183. I would purchase it again in a heartbeat.
