This foot has a 4mm underfoot groove which is fantastic for making one-step, professional looking flat felled seams and for turning narrow edges and hems. This foot saves time and is great for garment construction, especially enclosed side seams on denim. A flat felled seam stitched with a double needle is the most common stitch for shirt's and casual garments, also known as a cover stitch. Can also fit most low shank Baby Lock machines. For those of you that have one of these high shank Baby Lock Models Ellageo ESG, Ellageo 2 ESG2, Ellageo 3 ESG3, Esante 2 ESE2, Ellure ESL. You will need to use a high to low shank adaptor ESE2-A. Can also fit most low shank Brother machines. Can also fit most low shank Singer machines.

Good foot to have.

If you want to make flat felled seams on clothing, this is a must. My machine didn't come with this foot and few stores sell them anymore. I found this one and it was a good price. So far it works as expected. The quality is not as good as old singer made ones, but it is still made well.
